138-Meter Mega-Yacht: M/Y Rising Sun.

The largest American-registered yacht, and (at this writing) the second largest luxury vessel in the world, the Rising Sun truly rates as an impressive sight to behold.

Since our initial invitation supplement the Rising Sun's ranks with additional personnel in 2004, Crew Asia has placed over a dozen highly-qualified crew members aboard this astounding beauty, including:

• 4 Deckhands
• 2 Engineers
• 2 Stewards
• 2 Stewardesses
• 2 Chefs
• 1 Laundry Person

In June 2007, an unexpected invitation to Spain’s “Valencia’s Cup Regatta” forced the early recall of various Rising Sun crew members from leave.

Ms. Kate Barnes, Interior Manager of the Rising Sun asked Crew Asia to spearhead a solution to the logistical and immigration issues this unforseen manning crisis had triggered. We were, of course, happy to assist in any way we could.

A few weeks later, we received the follwing from Ms. Barnes:

Dear Alan:

Thank you for the miracle that you pulled off last week to get our crew back to us on time.

I know it is not an easy task dealing with Embassies and Airlines, especially when you are trying to move crew out to moving targets like the Rising Sun with a busy and unpredictable itinerary.

We appreciate the extra mile you went for us, and we are really happy to have our smiling Filipino crew back onboard again.
